Airport Rental Procedures
Below are our airport rental procedures. Click on an airport
for more information:
Edinburgh Airport
Meeting us inside the airport
Edinburgh Airport is Scotland's fastest growing airport,
handling upwards of 7.5 million passengers
per year. Despite this huge volume of people it is
still very controlled and organised with a simple
layout comprising of check-in desk running along the full length
of the concourse with international arrivals on the left and
domestic arrivals on the far right. Depending on your arrival
details our uniformed meet and greet officer shall meet you
in either of these arrivals areas, holding a name board containing
your group or individual name.
Once you have met
You will be greeted with a smile
by our officer whereupon you should confirm your name. Having
given us your details on the reservation form your rental
contract will be complete just requiring your signature.
You will be given a copy of this along with your
credit card payment receipt.
Your onward journey
From here your vehicle will be
sitting outside the terminal and we shall assist with all baggage
where possible. From here we carry out a pre-rental
inspection with you, noting any damage to the vehicle
inside or out. As with all rentals please be sure to carry
out a thorough inspection at this point with our officer. You
will now be asked to sign agreeing the vehicle condition
before setting off. We will now show you the controls
of your vehicle.
Vehicle return details
Please call us prior to your rental termination (either
the day before or on the final day – phone lines open
7.45am–8pm) to be advised of key drop procedures. After
having advised us of your termination please
park the car in the ALMOND ROAD CAR PARK at Edinburgh
Airport and proceed with the keys as instructed (this
car park is the first on the left after joining the
one way road system around the airport).
We would
ask that you please ensure that the car is not left
in any other car park – ALMOND
ROAD CAR PARK ONLY!!
Other important matters
We monitor all flight arrivals, however if you miss
your plane or your trip is cancelled please
do let us know immediately – this will allow us to be
more efficient to others later in the day – a surcharge
will be levied for 'no shows' or aborted rentals.
Tips
or gratuities are at your own discretion if you feel
our service has earned this extra payment.
Please
advise us in advance should you have an excessive
amount of baggage.
If you have trouble meeting at
the airport please call us free of charge from any
payphone on 0500 932 906 immediately from the terminal.

Glasgow
Airport
Meeting us inside the airport
Glasgow International Airport
is a large but well laid out airport allowing easy navigation
thanks to very clear signage and friendly staff. Domestic arrivals
are located on the right of the ground floor concourse and
international arrivals are on the left of the ground floor
concourse. Depending on your arrival details our uniformed
meet and greet officer shall meet you in either of these arrivals
areas, holding a name board containing your group or individual
name.

given us your details on the reservation form your rental
contract will be complete just requiring your signature.

proceed with the keys as instructed.

Prestwick Airport
Car rental collections
Prestwick Airport is a large and spacious airport
with easy navigation as it only has one arrivals
hall. As with Glasgow & Edinburgh airports our 'meet and
greet' officer shall meet you inside the arrivals
hall with a name board containing your name. Your paperwork
shall be completed prior to your arrival just requiring a signature
upon our initial meeting. Your car will be waiting
outside the terminal ready for your immediate departure. We
shall assist with baggage out to the vehicle and carry out
a pre-rental inspection prior to driving off.
Terminations
Please call us the day before your departure to be
briefed on dropping the car off at Prestwick
airport.
NB: Please be aware that Glasgow & Glasgow Prestwick are
two different airports. Glasgow Airport is within
the Glasgow city boundary around 10 minutes from
the heart of the City Centre, whereas Prestwick Airport
is around 45 – 55
minutes south of Glasgow city. Clients who mistakenly
reserve a car for one airport and show at the other
will be billed accordingly.
