It's a family thing...

Our company was founded in 1979 by Mr David Clarkson himself, who started the business with four second hand cars available for rent. Through local knowledge, good contacts, and a sharp eye for business, these four cars were the seeds that today have grown into a 400 strong fleet of cars, vans and trucks up to 17 tonnes available on daily rental throughout Scotland.

In more recent years we have added a leisure and tourism division solely for the purpose of handling the ever increasing number of visitors to our country. To complement this we have introduced the range of additional services seen throughout our Website offering a truly complete transportation service.

Today, David and his son Barry head the company with an ever loyal and enthusiastic team of 60 employees throughout. We adopt an equal opportunities policy and believe in promotion from within allowing employees to grow and flourish within our organisation. We remain a truly family driven business and believe this is the key to our continued success.

We are now a 24 hour operation, 7 days a week, offering unprecedented range and service to our clients up and down the country. Most recently we opened our own vehicle reconditioning plant covering every aspect of vehicle refurbishment, meaning our vehicles remain in 'tip top' condition.

We are part of the UK's largest chain of independent car rental operators and a member of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA). Our directors are fellow members of the Institute of Motor Industry - the UK's governing body for the Motor Trade. We offer you this information by way of our professional integrity.
